The property is fully fenced and has two internal paddocks fenced with 5 strand barbed wire, ideal for your house cow.
We had a vision of creating a place where we could escape the stresses of life and live sustainably, with minimal impact on the environment. In our quest for sustainability we established the property to provide as much of our needs as possible. This is done through a variety of modalities including organics, biodynamics and permaculture.
It’s very quiet and relaxing here, you can’t see or hear the neighbours and there are two dams for swimming / fishing.

The property is situated ½ hour drive from major town – Kingaroy, 1 hour to picturesque Bunya Mountains National Park, approx. 1 hour to fresh water fishing in a choice of two dams (Boondooma & Bjelke-Peterson Dams) and 2 ½ hours to Hervey Bay (whale watching) and Sunshine Coast (surf beaches).
Wildlife abounds as property has been selectively cleared, 18 hectares (30 acres) with the balance (30 hectares or 90 acres) retained as a wildlife refuge and native flora habitat currently under the ‘Land for Wildlife’ scheme. ('Land for Wildlife' registration does not permanently protect your property and will cease when the landholder sells the property, or when they choose to leave the program.)
Fauna that we share the property with include kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, echidnas, goannas and the odd snake and an abundance of native birds as well as nocturnal animals such as bandicoots and micro bats.
